Please note that the following monthly subscription prices are for guidance only, as WIPtracker is sold through SmartOpsMgt partners who may optionally bundle WIPtracker with the needed equipment. These prices are for an annual prepaid subscription to a WIPtracker box with all its embedded software. These prices will depend on the capabilities licensed. They may also vary with tariffs and inflation.

WIPtracker is an affordable, integrated work-in-process tracking, warehouse management, manufacturing execution system that also performs job and materials and tracking and traceability data collection. This all comes in one small ruggedized Windows IOT (Internet-of-Things) enterprise-based computer, ready to plug into your local area network and start collecting data.

The cost of a WIPtracker production tracking and scheduling system is $900/month, that of a full capability WIPtracker warehouse management system is $1,200/month and the cost of a WIPtracker which includes an integrated work-in-process tracking, warehouse management, job and materials tracking, as well as a manufacturing execution system that also performs job and materials and tracking and traceability data collection, is $1,600/month. In addition there is a $50/month fee for each staff or manager login or shared data collection device login.

Best of all, organizations can start with a small configuration, with limited capabilities and then upgrade in place, without disrupting operations, simply by uploading a new license file.

These prices are for configurations supporting simultaneous use by about a dozen people, using a mix of scanning devices, such as ruggedized mobile computers with integral barcode scanners and PCs equipped with corded barcode scanners. WIPtracker can support up to about 64 simultaneous users, provided that WIPtracker computer is appropriately sized (more cores), for which there is an additional charge.

Even a simple WIPtracker production tracking system has been shown to save the equivalent time of one or two full time (FTE) production people or material handlers at a loaded labor cost of over $6,000/month each, with correspondingly larger savings for more capable WIPtracker  systems.

Also, savings in the time of managers and their staff, in not having to do "intelligent grunt work" tasks to keep track of their operations in near real-time, results in a much better managed and efficient organization. That is not to overlook the potential losses that can be avoided with WIPtracker by avoiding shipping customer orders late or by avoiding having to recall products due to mistakes and/or defective products.

As a result, WIPtracker can quickly pay for itself in a few weeks or months, even when you include the needed cost of the barcode scanning equipment.

Best of all, WIPtracker can be up and running as soon as it is plugged in. This avoids all the cost and expense and delays of needing IT people to install and setup the software on their own computers or in their Cloud. It also avoids the risk of plant or warehouse shutdowns due to the Internet going down or of slowing down operations due to an overloaded Internet connection.

Because the BellHawk software that WIPtracker runs is based on a rules-based Expert system, it can be easily tailored, at low cost, to a wide variety of applications. Also business analysts and manufacturing engineers can easily code their own alerts and reports using simplified Python scripts. As a result, customizing WIPtracker for the needs of each organization can usually be done by in-house staff, rather than hiring expensive consultants.
